Groups involved with specific GeoParadise Events in order to allow for self-organization of logistics and shared travel arrangements.
Landscaping, Permaculture, Ethnobotany, bio-arquitecture, translators, fundraisers, promotors, social movers and groovers, proactivists, grassroots communities, land keepers, eco-villages, travellers, eco-vehicles, organic farmers, shaman, indigenous communities, educators and innovators, everyone who is or wants to be involved in the co-creation of a better future through GeoParadise platform.
Here is the place for groups to hold discussions and share ideas about Proactive Vacation Programs, the new concept suggested by Site Crew members to start in this year 2011. The organization of said programs, same like GeoParadise Gatherings, will be done in a peer-to-peer, self-managed way: We´ll communicate to GeoTribe, through these groups, the needs and issues to address in the communities we meet during our travels and GeoParadise Gatherings. Everyone in the tribe can do the same. Then, members of the GeoTribe who are interested to help, can bring their ideas for the specific projects and establish communication with other interested people to form work teams. These work teams will use GeoHub to manage the specific projects, organize tasks, dates, propose and vote solutions, etc. When a project is over, reports will be included in the section GeoHaven > BioRegional Solutions for inspiration and learning.

Full Moon Gatherings
Starting in April 2011, GeoParadise is co-producing a series unique and free Full Moon Gatherings on Caribbean islands off the coast of Panama.
Gorgeous beaches, crystalline waters, astonishing coral reefs, boat trips, jungle adventure, pacha mama at her best.
Tribes of the world celebrating together the miracle of life and the beauty of cultural diversity...
At the same time, we help each other, pumping resources into the bio-region and co-creating a sustainable future for all involved.

Permaculture & Land Management
We are looking for land to set up a permanent center dedicated to art, entertainment, ecology and social innovation. It will also be the hosting land for a series of 7 years "leave positive trace" events. We need people who can help with the design and setting up of a beautiful biointensive organic farm to produce enough food to feed the event (restaurants, bar and crew) and sustain a small team of geo-activists throughout the year. It needs to be a piece of art, a garden of lush integrated within the artistic vision of the project. Do you want to give a hand? We aim to find people to cooperate with, finding business opportunities mutually beneficial. We are looking for partners co-creators, not employees.

Film & Photography
Film Makers, Photographers, Video Wizards and other media peeps, we really need you!!! GeoParadise is a great story to tell, a legend to forge, an evolutionary movement in gestation, but it requires your talent to thrive.
We are calling everyone interested to make your own films, videos and presentations of what GeoParadise is for you and share it with the world, providing GeoTribe with great communication tools, to be used towards the achievement of our Leave Positive Trace goals in the different bioregions.
We operate under an open license (Creative Commons) because we don´t believe in proprietary art and culture and so needs to be any work done about our project. We strongly encourage collaborative initiatives, like in all the areas of GeoParadise project.
Please, use this group for discussions about projects, suggestions, ideas, self-organized event reporting, equipment share, etc ... creative collaboration to heal the planet!!

Sinai, Costa Rica
GeoParadise Gathering 2010 was more than a festival, it was also a meeting point of brilliant minds and souls with the intent to build and create great projects together, specifically addressing the hosting village of Sinai. Out of that intention, some beautiful fruits have ripened during months following the event: Carlos Sarmiento and Silvia Fantou have successfully organized a fundraising effort to buy Kendall, Betty's disabled grandson, a wheel chair which was really needed (Congratulations guys, you are awesome!!) Jason Grey, Courtney Firefly and others are putting together self-organized Proactive Travel programs to carry on with different on-going projects in Sinai and Casey Potetz and her crew from Connecticut are organizing a fundraiser event to support the lovely village which deeply touched all our hearts.
There are many ideas on the table: build a water system, rebuild rainforest corridors as fauna's migratory routes, computer workshops with school kids, rebuild the old school to be a guest house, build chimneys in some houses to improve indoor air quality, biointensive communal gardens, etc. From here, we want to call anyone who wants get involved and cooperate in the projects. Please, join GeoTribe and this group and start co-creating solutions with other fellows... Last New Year we planted a seed in Sinai during the Gathering and together we will make it flourish!

For those open source computer gurus, web developers, programers, IT magicians, proactive geeks, hippy nerds, etc... willing to help GeoLab in its mission to make this website a practical tool for GeoParadise community. We need a lot of help!!! Our next big long term project will be to set up a complementary currency exchange system inside our platform and facilitate a coalition of communities around the world, which are using similar systems, to set standards and enable a global network for international trade. Bring it on!!!!

We need people to help us translate the website. At the moment, we are working on the Spanish version, but we could do with french, german, portuguese... and we also accept suggestions!
We´ll have a wiki where we can collectively work on the translations of the website copywriting, using peer-reviewed system like wikipedia. More info soon!
