GeoParadise is co-producing a series of unique and free Full Moon Gatherings off the Caribbean coast of Panama.
Gorgeous beaches, crystalline waters, astonishing coral reefs, boat trips, jungle adventure, pacha mama at her best.
Tribes of the world dancing and celebrating together the miracle of life and the beauty of cultural diversity...
At the same time, we help each other, pumping resources into the bio-region and co-creating a sustainable future for all involved.
We have chosen the dates for the upcoming Full Moon Gatherings in 2011 and 2012:

For the full moon of December 2012 we´ll have a big festival, our annual Tribal Gathering from 21st to 28th, coinciding with the End of the 13th B'ak'tun of the Mayan Long Count Calendar. You can read more info about this event here.
Island: Isla Mamey (Costa Arriba, Provincia Colon)
The Full Moon Gatherings are free, that said we are more than happy to accept donations to go towards the inter tribal indigenous meeting during Tribal Gathering 2012.
FOOD AND DRINK: We cover our expenses through bar sales, so please, leave your coolers and alcohol on the mainland. There will be food available in the island at the restaurant or you are more than welcome to bring your own. PLEASE BRING DRINKING WATER for the duration of the event. There is spring water available to fill your containers at the restaurant near Puerto Lindo yacht club, where you take your boat to Mamey. There is two little shops and a bar in Puerto Lindo.
ACCOMMODATION: You should bring your tent or hammocks. Camping in the island is free for the event attendees. There is also a few local budget hostels and apartments to rent if accommodation other than tent is needed. Locals are really friendly, you just have to ask around to find anything you need.
IMPORTANT!! There is petrol available in Puerto Lindo as well but no cash machines after Sabanitas, so make sure you bring enough cash for the weekend!!
As with all our events PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take anything you bring with you back with you when you leave the island.

1. Get the bus line Panama-Colon and get down in Sabanitas. Price aprox: $3. These run all day with a frequency of 15-30 mins from Albrook Terminal. Aprox. duration 1:15 h, depending on traffic conditions.
2. In Sabanitas, take another bus to Puerto Lindo. $3. Duration: 1:30 h. Here, on the right, the bus schedule from Sabanitas to Portobelo/Puerto Lindo and back. Times are approximate and could vary greatly. It's strongly recommended to be at bus stop at least 15 min before estimated bus passing time. After 5:30 pm buses only reach Portobelo, being needed to take a taxi from there to Puerto Lindo.
3. Finally in Puerto Lindo ask at the docks for a launch to Isla Mamey. It's less than 10 min and cost $3.
Drive Corridor Norte towards Colon. Turn right in Sabanita towards Portobelo. Continue on the road through Portobelo to Puerto Lindo. Park and get one of the many boats to Isla Mamey. Ride sharing is strongly recommended, if you have a spare seat in your car or need one leave a message in the group Full Moon Gatherings in GeoTribe.
